Waxed thread, wire

35cm x 35cm x 35cm

Thread tightly coiled around wire holds the cube together. The method results in subtly volume shifts along the lines of the cube recalling the artists drawings.
Installed at a slight distance from a white wall using two ultra-thin fishing threads attached to the ceiling, the cube seems to float in space. The question of whether we are looking at a drawing or a sculpture is resolved only at great proximity. This in turn revels that what we are seeing is a simple yet intensely labor-intensive object.
